Nice mini, I like the detail on their leg belts!
I've finally started on making minis myself and (while it's not relevant to me yet as I've only made a couple of practice ones) I'm curious about how you make the mold for recreating a character like this, since obviously it'd be difficult to do the normal moulding technique around details that branch off (like the weapon) and even harder if they were a quadruped, no? Am I missing something obvious, or do figures of less gingerbreadman-esque* characters need to be planned in separate pieces from the start?
* Not sure if I'm explaining that well, but a lot of the guides just show how to cast humanoid characters standing with their arms at their sides, and that doesn't really explain what I should do if I want, say, a winged manticore character with a dynamic pose.
